Lenticular Printing
Lenticular printing is a process or combination of two or more images viewed by a specialized lens material to create the illusion of animation or three-dimension. A Lenticular image has two components: a printed image and a lenticular lens screen. The original image is sliced by a process called “interlacing”- one slice corresponds to one image. This sliced image is then either printed on paper or directly printed on the flat side of the lenticular sheet. Precise positioning of the lens produces the desired effect of the image.
